Contempt
Mr. Hale has prosecuted hundreds of contempt actions which have resulted in jugement for contempt, for delinquent child support and visitation interference. Many times penalties and fines were ordered to be paid by the offending parent and in some cases even jail time for repeat occurrences.
For example he filed a contempt against a mother who would not let her two teenage girls visit their father. After filing separate contempt actions the judge held the mother in contempt. After that occurrence the father who was denied all visitation was able to see the children without issue.
He also filed a contempt against a dad who refused to allow the mother to visit with the children which resulted in the father being sentenced to jail for several months.
